Christel is an experienced attorney and trusted advisor to individuals and organizations across the US and Canada.

Christel has more than 20 years of experience in equal employment and civil rights law, litigation, diversity and inclusion policy compliance, and legal document writing. She also brings nearly 10 years of experience as a trainer and teacher, providing compelling course content in remote and in-person settings.

In addition to founding Christel Best Training (CBT), Christel has been employed by Seyfarth at Work since 2016, where her focus includes providing equal opportunity compliance trainings, assessing ethics and harassment policies, and developing and implementing best practices and policy directives on a broad scale to ensure workplace fairness.

Before her employment at Seyfarth at Work, Christel worked for the US Department of Agriculture, as an adjunct law professor at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and as assistant director of law for the City of Cleveland Law Department. 

Christel is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law and American University.
